Экологический КВН (7 класс)

Цель: Совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся по теме

«Проблемы окружающей среды».

Задача: Научиться работать с лексикой, развить умения и навыки устной

речи.

The Dandelion

Конкурс капитанов

Captains, are you ready to complete? Will you listen to a story and practice

yourself in drawing the main characters? We’d like to know if you are able to retell

the story. The beginnings of the sentences are in one box and the endings are in the

second box. Good luck.

One day a fox met a tiger in the forest. The tiger rushed at the fox ready to tear him

to pieces. But the fox was not frightened. He said to the tiger, “ Don’t think you are

the strongest animal in the forest. It is true that I am smaller than you, but people

are less afraid of you than you are afraid of me. I can prove it to you now. Come

with me to the road where the people pass by. I’ll walk in front of you and you’ll

see that they run away as soon as they see me. After that you can tear me o pieces.”

The tiger agreed and they went to the road. Not long afterwards a group of

travelers came along the road. As soon as they ran away terrified.

“ Do you believe me now?” asked the fox. The silly tiger was so frightened that he

didn’t reply. He ran back into the forest. He really believed that the fox was a

terrible dangerous animal.

You must talk about ecological problems in the world for one minute.

How I Help the World

The problem of ecology is important in our country. There are a lot of

children who take care of the environment.

Our family is responsible for nature. We think that our environment is a

church. We ought to behave ourselves properly and believe in God. God

created the world we live in. We must protect it as we are part of our

beautiful nature.

In winter my father and I build bird’s houses. Every day I feed bird. In

spring we plant trees and flowers. My mother grows beautiful tulips and

daffodils, roses and poppies. I hate people who destroy the beauty of our

nature, break baby plants and pull out flowers. I want to be the kid who

saves the world.

Beauty Saves the World

A sunny summer’s day . I looked out of the window and saw beautiful

flowers. I ran quickly to the flower garden to admire them. I was only 5

years old. I haven’t seen these flowers before in the garden. They were

nice pink, white, red, yellow and it pricked my finger, because it was

sharp. I was near tears, it was rather painful. The flower looked at me and

bowed its head. It was ashamed, I think.

Soon my mother came into the garden. She comforted me and explained

that I shouldn’t touch the roses but mustn’t forget to take care of them.

We became friends with roses. I ran home, took a glass of water and

watered the rose which bowed its head. It seemed that it thanked me.

Make a poster for the Protection of Nature.

Dear friends,

Be kind to our beautiful nature.

Plant trees and flowers.

Place bird houses in your yard.

Leave scraps or other food for birds.

Don’t disturb nesting sites.

Watch, but don’t disturb wild animals.

Be a friend to fish. Don’t throw rubbish into their homes.

Recycle newspapers and other paper products.

Save empty cans, plastic and glass for recycling.

All woods are home to animals,

So we behaved like guests
